my whole life i have hated my nose it always seems so big to me ...i always wanted it done ..its very wide and long .well i finally build up the nerve to do it and now im getting scared .1 hoping i like the out come of it .2 the pain 3 black eye 4 the pain agine ..please help me out ....happy for dis sight .......

well i got my surgery yesterday it was not bad at all very sore ..swolling and i want to blow my nose so bad but it packed ...i really wondering how it looks its in a splint now but next week wed i will see the out come ...i can not believe i did it .........

its been 6 days since surgery my face went down no scared up feeling better all ready ...still sore but i can see everything coming along ..cast comes off tommoro and boy am i happy ....god bless yall for all the support i couldnt of done it by myself .....pics coming tommoro ....

awesome results, i want the same surgery and we have the same type of nose. If you can, could you post a picture up close of your face, you don't have to if you don't want to. Nice results, i hope i can get results like yours. Do you know what exactly your surgeon did.

I’m having my cast removed tomorrow and I’m feeling a little anxious. For those of you who have gone through it, what should I expect? Will my nose be very swollen and shapeless immediately after cast removal or does the swelling kick in a couple hours later? I’m trying not to set myself up for disappointment so I’d really love to hear your input. Thanks!!

Congrats, i am happy for you. I am like you, really really scared i am having mine i 5 june, and still a am thinking maybe i should cancel i am so SCARED..

Hi Wayne,

I think, like Angie said, that if you have chosen a skilled and board certified rhinoplasty specialist, everything will be fine. I haven't gotten my surgery yet, but have been lurking around rhinoplasty sites for a while now, and it seems like it's more discomfort than any pain that you need to worry about. Even that doesn't seem to be too bad for a lot of people, but everyone is different. Did you do a lot of research before choosing your doctor? Have you made sure that he or she is experienced and skilled in performing ethnic rhinoplasties? And do you feel confident that you are on the same page about what kind of results are possible? If the answer to all of those questions is yes, then I think you can feel confident about going into surgery tomorrow. It'll be over before you know it. :)

You will do fine! I haven't gone through it yet, but will be under going the surgery in July. I've done a ton of researched and talked to a lot of people, and it really isn't that bad! I wish you the best! Keep us all posted.
