Looking to Lose 20lbs Before Surgery. - Atlanta, GA

I had no idea about this procedure until I came...

I had no idea about this procedure until I came across this website. I have always had a butt but I would like it to be bigger and curvier. I'm 30 years old. I have 2 children, a 2year old and a 6month old. I am 5'5 and weigh 227lbs. I had my phone consult with Dr. Jimmerson back in august. He told me to lose at least 20lbs. Since speaking with him, I have been motivated and have been losing weight. I will be going to my surgery alone b/c my hubby have to stay with the kids. If anyone know of a good caregiver pls send me the info and also need a list of what I would need to for surgery. Thank you. Also if you have had the surgery please feel free to let me know your personal experience.

Great review?

Sorry I am new to realself and not sure how to view your quote. I clicked on your full profile by placing my mouse over your name but it takes me to your 2 pre-op pics and some comments but I still didn't see where it listed your quote, lol, guess thats what happens to newbies. :0)

im in the same boat as far as losing weight. when i went to my consult i was told not to lose any weight but i had been wanting to lose twenty pounds anyways so i guess i will start on that soon . my surgery is april 26 so i have about three months to go ..i dont think twenty pounds will be too hard. i know after the surgery i wont be able to do much but lay on my stomach and eat so i dont want to gain any weight doing that. im excited and scared all togehter but i know dr jimerson will have me right

Hi Brownsugar30 (Love the name)! I am 5'4 and weight 171lbs... I am scheduled to have a TT on March 12.... My PS didn't weigh me during our initial consult, all he did was have me undress and took a look at my body and the areas I wanted work on.... I plan on losing at least 20lb pounds anyway before my surgery just in case....

Hi SmokeynBandit. What doctor is going to perform the surgery on you? If the doctor doesn't tell you to lose weight, you might not have to.

Hi! His name is Dr. Bullis and you could be right.. I will email the clinic and ask him. Thanks for the insight.

Hi, SmokeyndBandit, I noticed you are going to Dr. Bullis. I am having a consult with him in a few days for a tummy tuck. Wondering what you thought of him? If you don't mind also wondering what he quoted you for a tummy tuck so I can get a idea??? I know all quotes are different, but I am just wondering. Thank you so much. I will update as I go on my consult. Hopefully I will have my tummy tuck soon too. If all goes well it would be about the same time frame as you!

Hi Candance! My quote is listed on my profile too but it's $13,500. I am actually getting a little more work done than the TT (read my full profile) :0 So if you are getting just a TT, I would think your cost would be lower, don't know. As for Dr. Bullis, I think he is a very nice and to the point, LOL. I thought I could get away with just lipo after talking to patient rep but when he performed by exam he was like no, 'you need a TT, lipo alone won't give you the look you want. I really liked the fact he was honest and straight forward :0 When is your consult?
