Just had the surgery on February 11, 2013 - less than a week ago, but am already so pleased with the results. I had put this off for so long due to fear and now wonder "why did I wait so long"?

I am still swollen and face is distorted to some degree, but I no longer have the jowls and flabby neck that I hated so much. As the swelling begins to go away, I am seeing improvement every day. I have had some pain, but it is very manageable. I am so pleased and can now look in the mirror without seeing that "old" face staring back at me.

Stitches now out - swelling is still apparent (especially to me) on jaws. Is worse in the a.m. Bruising, which was minimal, is almost gone - just a little left on the neck area. My worst pain was in my right ear and has greatly diminished. Just so happy to look in the mirror and not see the jowls and the saggy jawline.

It's been three weeks today and I am so happy with the results. Still some swelling, especially in the a.m., but not really noticeable to anyone but me. I had worried about whether or not to have this procedure for so long and, now, I am so very happy that I finally got up the nerve to go through with it. Another thing - the incision lines in front of my ears are almost invisible. The incision under my chin is the most pronounced, but I am using Mederma on it and I can completely cover it with make-up.

I am still doing good and recovery has gone nicely. I had the lower lift a little over 2 months ago. Been feeling a little down as no one (friends, family) seems to notice any difference. I saw some family members over the weekend, that hadn't seen me in a few months, and I was hoping for some comments/compliments, but nothing. I really think that I look better, but would love to hear some positive remarks from my family and/or friends.
Great review?

Read several excellent reviews about Dr. Harley on this site and had also done months of research on different doctors and their credentials/references. Everything I read about Dr. Harley was positive and I e-mailed one of his patients that had had the same procedure done and she was a great help to me. She wrote an article which is available on Dr. Harley's site "Mary's Story" and is an excellent source of information. The final thing that helped me choose my doctor was my family doctors' recommendation of Dr. Harley

Honestly there is no way on earth that you will know true results in a week,it takes several weeks if not months,in fact we often do look great initially due to swelling ,but better to post again after 3 months is up.?
