Overall rating

My doctor is so attentive, comforting, and just has an amazing energy. The nurses are great but he does need to tweak his admin staff. There have been a lot of last minute scheduling changes...2 so far and I stilll have 3 more days of treatment.

I just got my 2nd day of procedures done today : Top/Bottom Stomach. I am predispostioned to gain all my weight in my belly and face, so I have been lookng like a pregnant Eskimo for like 2 years now... not a good look for me. So as you can imagine today was quite and exciting one. The whole procedure took about an hour. They gave me valum and vicodrn for the pain..helped a bit. It was far easier than the flanks but still I felt the needles for the lidocane injections. No pain no gain as they say. You really have to get in a Zen mode and have  the right doctor to make it as pleasant as possible because it is a little weird.  I feel the crack and pops of the falt melting, the vibrations, the stings of the needles...it's defintely doable...especially with the quick recovery and amazing results. So NAMAStE when your on that table. After it was all over, I was able to take the subway home although I do have a pain whole stomach region.  It feels like  I did 1000 sit ups...the silver lining is that I actually didn't. Will post photos soon. Tomorrow I get my arms and chin....can't wait! \

PS -  I have never thought I would ever get cosmetic surgery let alone lipo but this SmartLipo is truly amazing. I am so glad to be alive in 2009!!

It was extremely helpful to see your before and after pictures. I'm especially interested in finding out how the chin/neck area worked out. Also, who was your doctor? It looks like you might be in my area.

The Chin/Neck look good so far. My doctor says it will go down a lot more...I hope so! It's been almost 2 weeks and I am still sore. No pain no gain as they say. My doctor is one of the best in the country with this procedure. His name is {edited}. Tell him Sandy sent ya. They will also do a free consulation on Skype if you can't make it to NYC. I will be posting more photos in a week. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Edited by Sharon: We've added your provider information above the review. Thanks!
Pics look great! Ive been doing research on your MD and he seems to have alot of positive reviews. Will look into setting up a consultation with him. Does he charge for that? Please post more pics..would love to see the rest of your results! You look great =)
Thanks for the info. It looked like there were some marks on your flanks after - looks kind of like pen - is that something permanent or scarring? Was it painful?
hi, thanks for your post. i'm considering dr. chia, and i have a few questions that i hoped that you could answer: 1) were you able to negotiate a lower price if you paid cash, or any other ways? 2) how long did you leak at the incision for? was there a lot of leakage? 3) were you able to return to work after two days? 4) did you shower the day after the operation? were you able to get the garment/bandages off by yourself without anyone's help? 5) did you only use the bandages during the day of the operation? did you not need them after? 6) did you use any ointment for bruising or scarring (arnica, mederma, neosporin, etc)? 6) are you still seeing the "mush" around the area at this point? thanks so much!
