I had a tummy tuck 3 weeks ago and for the past week have been dealing with two open wounds at the T section (one the size of an oval quater and the other real small...both aren't too deep.) I have been putting antibiotic ointment on it twice a day (once after my shower) and covering it with gauze. It is still seeping some blood and fluid (though less then before.) And it gets the yellow slough (I believe it's called.)Have seen plenty of articles on what an infection look like (which mine is not showing signs of) but can't find anything to tell me what are positive signs the wound is starting to heal. There is no pus, fever, etc. No infection that I see but what are the signs it's healing? I know it has to heal from the inside out but I am curious what things I can look for that are considered positive and starting to heal.
