Worth It
Spent: $4,000 in Salt Lake City, Utah

I had a rhinoplasty to get rid of the bump on my nose and get rid of the droop.

Pros=bump gone.

Cons=bulbous nose, looks swollen but its been a year so it shouldn't be, and it droops down.

Should I get a follow up? My doctor doesn't sound too thrilled about doing it and doesn't feel real confident but I feel really self consious about it and still am not happy with it. I tried going to a different doctor but it would cost 5 times as much.

If the Doctor doesn't feel confident....DON"T GET A REVISION with him..... Find a doctor who specializes in tips...Look for articles on web md or ask your current doc....Everyone has a speciality and he's telling you it isn't his!! Tip or revision rhino is very specialized not something that should be taken lightly...You can only have so many nose surgerys!!! Find the best and make it your last...Wait and save the money or finance it if you have to,,,,but under no circumstance should cost be a consideration.... This could and should be your last rhinoplasty...

Just got that exact thing revised two weeks ago. Since it was my 2nd surgery on the nose, I went with specialized facial plastic surgeon w/20yrs experience! He rotated my tip and all I know is the problem is gone! Good luck just choose carefully.

I also live in Utah. I sent u a message b4.. I saw Dr. Randal Swenson today to see about my revision. He would only charge $5,000.00 The other Dr. I saw is DR. Grant Fairbanks...Dr. Swenson specializes in the ear, nose and throat and is considerably cheaper than DR. Fairbanks but I do not know yet who I will choose yet. I would recommend either DR.Grant FAirbanks or DR. Randel Swenson if you are trying to find a Dr. that does revision rhinoplasty in Utah.

Hey the name of my doc is Vladimir Grygoryants. He is in glendale ca very nice compasionate does good work. Leaves the nose looking natural. If you ever see him tell him Maria the nurse sent you . I think he can help you my nose was droppy big ugly and now I can't believe it. He does revisions. He is good at rhinoplasty I think because he works on large complicated noses like mine

I had my nose done in Salt lake a year ago, my results came out okay, however the doctor rotated the tip a little to avoid doing the tip. It seems like I always notice when the tip is done too much. I can give you that doctors name if you need it. My family has used him many times over the years

i still have a cast on, actually just a week ago I had a second one done so that the tip would look better. And so far I am amazed at the results! i am just so happy and he couldn't have done 1 thing better. I wish I just went to this doctor the first time. He also said he likes especially working on second rhinoplasties because he likes figuring out how to fix them. The prices were reasonable. I highly recomend Dr. Kjar.
