Not Worth It
Spent: $2,000 in pakistan

its been 7 days post op...and my nose seeems to be even bigger than before with a big round tip even worse...my RP agenda ws to get rid of a bump...narrow and shape my tip, elevate it and to reduce my overall size...the bumps is no more but the tip and the size seem to be even worse than before...the doc says he did all what he ws told to...also read tht if tip reshaping is done, the tip becums big and round also takes much longer to getin shape untill actual results appear...

cant say anything rite now as i dont have the wierdest idea what the outcome is...if its swellin or is it the actual and permenant outcome...but this is not what i was expecting after going through such a painful procedure....

plz help...is it temporary or am i stuck with this state of my nose unless i get a revision???

I can already see that the DR narrowed the tip. You are only 7 days post op, so try to remember that the swelling will last weeks, and even months! They also say that swelling goes down last at the tip. Try to keep a positive attitude and wait it out. 6 months to a year later you can reevaluate it and go back in if you aren't satisfied with the results. Good luck!

Hi, You have the same problem as me. The tip doesn't reduce easily even with a tip reduction. My tip is bigger than ever, even bigger than before. But my doctor promises me all of it will go away soon and I will see some of the final results in 3 months time. So my advice is wait and ask him about massaging the nose for the swelling to be reduced. Good Luck!

Hi there ppl, sorry for not updating about results as they werent worth the hastle...anyways werent satisfied with the results as there was this lump on my tip even after a year post surgery and the tip drooped down and projections werent conistent on either side...so alas went in for a revision around march 2011 and owed to my bad fate or wat to the same doc...he worked on the tip again...initially it was ok for around 2-3 months but as the swelling subsided the splendid work of the doc became visible and now im stuck with i dunno deformed sort of a tip...theres a depression sort of spot on under the left nostril seems as theres no cartilage under the skin to project it out...where as on the right side theres a fair edge of i dont know wat sticking out...so basically the tip is not so looking good, inconsistent and witout any contour and ... so basically I have given hope on it and didnt even bother going to that doc again to tell what a fine surgeon he was...will upload pics later...@ najeeb it was Dr babar from lahore model town...who ws urs?

I'm very sorry to hear what you went through :(

I do think your tip looked better in the before picture, although it may get better with time. Have you tried taping it? Taping my nose did wonders for my very swollen tip after my surgery.

You're still a pretty woman though :) I hope it gets better for you and if you do decide on a revision I'd suggest a different doctor.

I can recommend an excellent surgeon in Karachi. He's trained in England as a burns and reconstructive surgeon, but has become well known as a cosmetic surgeon. Let me know if you're interested in talking to him, I would say it's worth it.
