I just had a bbl and lipo sculpture of my abdomen, back, flanks and under arms with Dra. Yily de Los Santos yesterday. So far the experience has been way more than I expected. I'm not really in pain. It's more discomfort. I barely have any bruising. The doctor did a great job with me. Her entire team is fantastic! All the nurses are so nice and helpful. Her prices are very reasonable and her office staff replies promptly through email. I'm do glad I chose to do this procedure with her. It's really been a great experience in general. It's my first surgery ever and I don't think I could've made a better choice.

Lol sorry guys I didn't have my phone on while I was out there. I just got back on Sunday. My sister is doing great. She's past the three month mark so she's no longer wearing her girdle every day. I'm healing quickly as well. Most of the swelling is gone as I opted to have the ten recommended massages while in DR. My massage lady was Kathy. She works in the capital and will go wherever you are to do the massages. They hurt! but they are necesary for a speedy recovery in my opinion. The doctor has her number if anyone needs it. In order to contact the doctor I suggest calling over email. She's been so busy (I saw firsthand how many patients she handles! Though her team is very organized its a lot) that unless you make yourself heard by basically pestering her staff you'll get no where. A sneaky tip: tell her secretary that you already bought your flight. She's so sweet that even if the doc is booked she'll find where to squeeze you in lol.

Thnx for coming back nd giving us an update. Glad to kno u nd ur sister r doing great. U say u got 10 massages so did u get a massage pretty much everyday while in the dr? I ddnt even realize we needed tht many lol. Soooo r u loving ur results or wht? Take care boo
Thanks :) yea they recommend 8-12. I'm getting more done here for sure just haven't found someone yet. I can still feel hard parts under my skin. I don't know how to explain them. It's called grumos in Spanish. Maybe you won't have any. Everyone's different. I definitely need more massages though I'm loving my results in terms of how small my waist looks and how quickly skin stuck back which was a concern for me since I didn't do a tuck, just lipo. I'm happy! Especially because its only been about three weeks so I know I have a lot more shrinking to do! Lol

Hi! I started at 167. Lost 5 lbs before surgery. Weighed in at 162 on surgery day. It is very easy to slip into a minor depression after surgery if you worry about weight. You tend to come out heavier due to all the liquid retention. It's best not to weigh yourself til about three months later I was told.
