I had Restlyn injected by a dermatologist a week ago in the folds between by nose and mouth as well as in fine lines in my upper lip, and creases on the sides of my chin. It was my first cosmetic work evert. The Dr used two vials. Lip and chin are fine but cheeks got progressivly red, inflamed, painfull and hard to the touch. I just went on prednisone and Cipro as the thought is it may be infected. Now the skin is peeling. This does not seem common. What should I do?
I got my lip filled with restalyn (plus the pain killer in the restalyn) 3 days ago. I used a full vial because everytime I put half in the past after the swelling went down I would see no difference. My lips looked too big right away, I was told it was swelling and that it would go down. Now it's 72 hours later and even tho the swelling is going down it's still too big. I have some peeling and green bruising in the inside of my lips. is that normal? Will it still go down more?
I had Resatylane Kysse treatment Friday 30th October). The swelling and the bruising has gone down; however the skin on my lips feels strangely sensitive. My lips feel fragile, as if smiling could cause small tears in the skin; the lips also feel irritated and itchy, sometimes developing transient red patches. I have to constantly apply thick layer of lip emollient to prevent my lips from peelin. Did not experience this reaction when I had the juvederm filler around 6mo ago. Hypersensitivity?
