I had a feeding tube for ~3 months several years ago and ever since it's removal I have had an indented scar which basically looks like a 2nd belly button. How difficult and common is it to remove/revise these types of scars? Hoping it can be cut out, then the skin sewn back together so that there is a flattish linear scar
38 F had lip lift deep plane almost a year ago and co2 almost 6 months ago. I have raised incision line and pigmentation where co2 was and where incision line is. When its hot outside it swells and my under nostrils look raised from my skin. I hate it. I want a smooth and clean appearance. Please help.
I had a tummy tuck and breast lift about 3 years ago and have never been content with how my scars matured. I have tried several treatments of Broadband Light Therapy and the results have not been long-lasting or significantly improved the pigmentation of my scars. Would scar removal/revision surgery be a possibility for someone with my type of scar. Clearly I dont have the best healing skin. Im a major weight loss patient with a gastric bypass. Thank you!
I've undergone two corrective surgeries to my left cheek implant entering through the left gum palate but the second surgery I got a year ago left massive scar tissue. I have a super hard lump in the spot of the surgical entry that feels like it extends upper wards as well. It has left me with facial asymmetry and my smile is now uneven. My surgeon recommended another surgical scar tissue removal but won't that just cause more to develop again? Is there anything I can do to restore my smile?
Looking at my scar comparing it to online photos makes it evident that I have a very visible scar. With eyes closed, anybody can see that I had a surgery. The scar surface also makes the fold uneven and bumpy, which contributes to an aged look. What can I do with my scar? My whole surgery has been such a disappointing experience, and I regret it every day still. I also miss the fat pad that gave me youthful inner corner (photo). Is fat transfer or filler recommended to restore?
I had 2 shallow chickenpox scars on my forehead excised 1 month ago. I got the stitches out exactly 1 week after. After applying spf+concealer I immediately noticed that the smaller one turned to a small dent again. The bigger one was basically flat until about 3 days ago when I noticed it turned shallow and couldnt cover it as well as before with concealer. I noticed this some days after my scar spit a stitch. Is it related? I also noticed the scars widened a bit, will they stay like that?
