Im having some front veneers replaced after gum surgery that are eMax shade OM2. The shade guide that my dentist has does not have that shade, but there is a 0.5M1 that appears to be close. Im just worried because these are 3 of my front teeth. Are these shades close enough to each other that they will match?
Older female (60) fair skin, replacing 4 front tooth crowns and adding veneers (replacing a few back teeth crowns) for a TOTAL of 11 upper teeth - smile makeover. My previous old front teeth colors were the color of B1. My natural teeth when bleaching, will reach this B1 or very close to it... so I'm going to say my bottom are B1. I need help choosing a new veneer shade! With the help of a young Assistant, we picked OM2, but having 2nd thoughts they may be too white for my age?
I am checking in to see whether it is possible to alter veneers in a BL4/B1 at the neck tooth shade to a 1M1.5 with warmth at the top, which would be my ideal color. I won't go into the long story behind this question, but I would also like to know whether it is customary for a lab to be able to slightly darken veneers prior to their being cemented. I was told no by my dentist's office, but I had thought that would be a possibility.
Nervous about my shade choice for 4 front veneers. My temporary veneers are b1. Defiantly too yellowish. While picking final color Choice initially decided blend of bl2-bl3. Doctor is very good and asked me to meet the lab technician who told me based on my current tooth color to go with bl3 with a slight bl4. Now mind you I want to go lighter than my natural shade. When I saw bl4 next to b1, I didnt see a big difference. Can I see pictures of bl3 on a person? Also Im fair skin. 50 y old
I just got my veneers replaced after 20 years. I got the same shade as before and in certain light they look white in others no. Am I just being over dramatic? I think the new ones look so much more natural? And veneers have come a long way in 20 years so maybe thats it?
Worried the colour we chose is too white/fake looking. Wanted natural looking teeth and decided to go one shade up (A1 or B1 HT) from my natural teeth for my temps - I thought they were perfect but dentist recommended 1 shade up. After 1 day the temps looked too yellow so I agreed with my dentist's suggestion (BL4-HT). Now my final veneers are on and I'm panicking. Will the cement stabilise over 48 hours and will the colour drop by half a shade like he says it will?
Hey. Im in the process of my top 8 teeth veneered. Im currently with the temporaries on and theyre shade a1. At first the doctor thought that Im not looking to make my teeth whiter so he picked that color. He suggested me to go with either a1 or b1, I chose b1. Its only been two days since I got my temps. Im not sure it will be white as I would like. Im 18 and Im fair skinned. Maybe I should go whiter then b1 and maybe get my buttom teeth whitened as well. Thanks for your help.
I had my teeth whitened but as I had composite bonding on my teeth I had to wait until they were fully white to get it replaced. As an actress, I needed this doing quick so ended up paying (139 a tooth). I explained that I had problems with my teeth as a child which meant they yellowed underneath. He got the wrong shade completely, and I had to go back as the shape was wrong and now my tooth is chipped. I had to return six times as he also kept cancelling appointments. What can I do about this?
I am due to get 8 eMax porcelain veneers on top teeth. I am getting my teeth whitened prior to this to lighten my teeth as much as possible. I have read a number of reviews about emax veneers saying that they have not ended up looking as white or bright as they thought they would. My question is whether due to the translucency of the emax veneers should or could a brighter shade be selected to account for this and the result be less bright than the same in an opaque veneer?
My dentist gave me supposedly B1 veneers but these do not look like that at all. They are way to yellow. Since I have asked for a remake of BL4. I don't know but at first we went for a1 but they were yellow she supposedly sent them back and had b1 made but when they came back I noticed that they tried to put some type of glaze on the top and they still looked yellow. Are these true B1????
