I had 8 porcelain veneers placed about 6 years ago. Immediately I was unhappy with the appearance but could not necessarily figure out what it was I was unhappy with. In time I realized it was that I feel the veneers appear too bulky. Im considering getting them redone. I would just like to know if I do get them replaced and ask for smaller less bulky ones will they look better with my smile or is the structure of my mouth/smile that comes of bulky so any size veneer would appear too large?
What would be the best treatment for a perfect smile? Ive had braces in the past but didnt wear my retainers. Ive never had filling or any major dental issue barring wisdom teeth sensitivity. Would the gap beside my third tooth be too big for veneers to fix as well as my teeth protruding slightly.
Ive been self conscious about my teeth for as long as I can remember. My front teeth are smaller and as a result Ive got a gap. I dont really dont want to have to get braces given the length of time it takes. From what ive seen online porcelain veneers can work wonders, I just hope this is an appropriate option for me. Any help is much appreciated!
About two years ago, I had the surface of sixteen of my front teeth (eight lower and eight upper) shaved down and covered with veneers. My upper lip now seems to protrude more than it did before. Do my veneers look too thick? Do my teeth need to be shaved down further?
protruding canine tooth, I am aware that the rest of my teeth are not completely straight but I can live with them. It is the one canine tooth that I cannot stand, it makes me so self conscious. I really want it fixed and metal braces arent really an option for me. Please tell me there is an alternative!?
After reading some of these questions on here Im wondering if enough was removed from the surface of the teeth. Can the veneers surface be sanded down to thin them out. They were made by Glidewell.
Unfortunately I have papillae loss between several of my top front teeth and it would seem the best most reliable solution would be to have a gingival veneer since gum grafting wont work and composite bonding on my teeth will look weird as my teeth are naturally large. How comfortable and natural looking are the veneers? Im worried it will look obvious, make my mouth/lips protrude and give me a lisp. Is this the case? Thanks in advance for your reply.
i like my veneers. ive got a fixed bridge, and 5 veneers on my upper so my dentist made my veneers be uniform in size and protrudeness as my fixed bridge. im just wondering that the two front veneers are slightly bigger. would here be any chance they can be made shorter? also can a cosmetic dentist comment if ive made the right decision of doing 8 on top? or should I have opted for 10?
I recently got porcelain veneers. I feel like the are too long and look horsey and like they protrude. I have the option to have them shortened. Can you please tell me your opinion, do you think they are too long? Do they look unnatural? Thank you :-)
