Should I visit my GP about this? I had a very dark mole removed about 10 years ago and lately it has started, for want of a better expression, to tingle. I don't want to waste anyone's time but its such an unpleasant feeling, I am concerned. As this is on the nape of my neck, I cannot get a good enough picture to download anything. The area feels raised, but it doesn't look to be turning darker. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you
I have a mole that is itching and tingling. I have seen a dermatologist (first time seeing one) and he said it was nothing of concern. I have been told, by friends that have had melanoma spots, I should have requested a biopsy and/or seek a second opinion. Can an itching and tingling mole be of no concern or should I have a biopsy? I am new to this and my research shows itching and tingling is definitely cause for concern. What say you?
I was really worried so i looked it up, and the first thing that showed up was MELANOMA. I've told my parents many times that it is definitely a sign of foot melanoma, and they said they would take me to the doctor but i just can't wait!!! All i can think about now is how by the time they do take me, how much it could have spread. I could lose my TOE or even my ENTIRE FOOT if I don't act quick!!!!
I removed my flat beauty mark from the right side of my nose at home. (I was very self conscious about it). Then after a couple of days the beauty mark grew back again, so this time I used undiluted apple cider vinegar and it kind of burned my skin but then it made a pinkish flesh like circle around the beauty mark. And it's kind of uprisen now. And it makes me feel much more insecure now. It sometimes tingles a little bit. I was wondering if I can get it removed by a dermatologist?
I was wondering if this is serious, I've had this mark for less than a month. At first it was reddish in color and has darkened since. Area around black part is very pink. I scratched it and it bled a small amount and then quickly healed. Since then the are has had almost a tingly feeling to it.
