I dont know if the area is infected but it doesnt look normal to me, should i try applying paw paw ointment ? I only kept the bandaid on for 3 days is should I have kept it on longer ?
The mole which was lanced off on Tuesday (3 days ago) was sent off for a biopsy. I was told to keep it bandaged up and apply Vaseline or petroleum jelly which I have. Attached is a picture. It is on my right arm above my elbow. It is the size of a nickel. I want to know if it is okay to use Neosporin in place of the petroleum jelly today because it is getting sore and it appears there may be a little infection in it due to the yellowness and redness.
I got a mole removed on my back 3 days ago and today is the day I got to take off my 1st plaster. I had gone shower first and then I removed my plaster but when I removed it, there was a brown liquid coming from the 2nd plaster I have on? Could this be dry blood from when it was removed? I am quite concerned as the second plaster is now covered in this 'dry blood' and I'm not sure if this is how it should be? What is this brown all over my plaster?
Had 2 moles removed from my back 3 days ago. They are extremely itchy and look really gross. I've been cleaning w/soap 2x per day and covering w/Vaseline and bandaids; keeping them moist, as instructed. I'm concerned they may be infected because they are so itchy and red. My friend thinks they look moldy. Thoughts?
I went in three days ago to remove a mole located above my upper lip and still have allot of swelling left. It is not bothering and doesn't look like it's getting infected just is swollen. they had to inject it like four times in order to numb it up would that make a difference? I called them but they haven't gotten back to me and it's the weekend. so seeking some answers on her. - thanks in advance
Three days ago I had a mole shaved off. This is within the pubic region and as such surrounded by hair. The wound is about 1cm square. I have been cleaning it once a day with diluted detol with water. Then applying liquid Betadine and covering with a bandaid. Should I be using Betadine?
I've had a mole removed only two days ago, and aside from parts of it that are slightly scabby there is dark pigmentation left over in the shape of the original mole. I know the area will likely always be pigmented darker than my skin tone, but should I expect the current pigmentation to lighten more during the healing process, or is this simply what I am permanently left with?
