Its been just over 3 months since my hair transplant. I dont really have a huge concern but a slight curiousity. I have browsed through many 10 days post op photos of the patients and they didnt have a lot of scabbing compared to mine on day 10. Someone in the comment section had mentioned that this is an early sign. Less scab formation means highly successful HT and excessive scabs formation means HT might be a failure . Is this true ?
My surgeon said I can wash my head vigorously under the hot shower head to get the scabs off. I got most of them off. It looks like alot of hair came off stuck on the scabs and my hair looks really thin. Is it normal to look like this ? Am I over reacting? Keep in mind I did this 12 days after surgery which I'm told the grafts are anchord in.
I'm day 6 after FUE (3700 grafts) and I see that if i gently pass my hand (on dry hair), applying mild pressure, some scabs start to fall. Is this bad? Can it have a non desired effect? There is a lot of information and consensus on how to treat the transplanted area, starting to rub off the scabs after 9-10 days. My question is around the donor area, as I couldn't find mucha about it on this topic. Thanks
19 days post FUE, 1800 grafts. I have some blood scabs and divots like holes under them, wet to see my USA clinic where I had it done, response was never seen this before as well no hair shedding, its growing with some ingrown.
That picture is 16 days post op from having 2000 grafts densely packed into my receding hairline. I work from home so I was in no rush to rub off the scabs and thought I'd simply leave them to fall off on their on accord as opposed to rubbing the recipient area to speed up the process. Is there anything wrong with having down that? Note that all the scabs in the picture are raised above my scalp having being lifted by the newly implanted hairs.
Before 14 days, (two weeks) I make a hair transplant and every thing is going good, I need just a little in my front area, so after 11 days or 12 when I touch my transplanted area (front head) when the hairs transplanted, I have remove some scabs about 4-5 and with them are about 2-3 hair yarn per one scab, with these small hair are a something small with white color, so I'm afraid I lost these hairs.. Is this is possible or not ? Still 14 days and I have some cabs now..
after 5-6 days I picked at some of the scabs in the crown area of my head and when I did that some hair fell out with the scabs also when I went to bed the next morning there was more shedding of hair so now Im worried that the crown area of my head is ruined and that the transplant went to a waste. Will the hair grow back or did I pull out the roots since it was only about 5-6 days post op
Hi all, I was wondering if anyone would have a say with regards to these black spots that look like scabbing 2 months post due op. The thing is, I had scabbed 11 days after post op and someone who looked at scalp says that it looks like the scabbing is possibly from the inside. Would be an infection? I don't feel sick at all.
Before 16 days I make a hair transplant, today I remove scabs on my receipt area slowly with my fingers. When doing this some hairs have fallen.. Us that a wrong thing ? As you can see on the photo there's receipt area, do you think some more hairs will come in the future ? Also today I go to the my hairdressing and he wrongly cut my hairs in donor area so now the skin look like it's with a blood, is there any way to dye with black hair color or using a hair fiber to make it look normally ?
