I just got a crown placed that made my bite too high on that side. I returned and expected the crown to be filed to fix the bite, but instead, the dentist filed some of the tooth above it first, then filed the crown down a bit. I thought it fixed it, but now I feel a higher bite on the other side. Why would she touch the tooth above that wasn't the problem then address the crown that was the issue? Do I have to find someone else now to fix what this dentist did? My bite was fine before this.
I have just had 6 new crowns done on my front teeth. The gum line is uneven because the size of the teeth go from long to short in the one side and different in the other side. So the gum line looks uneven. I have never seen it done like this before. I have a big smile and it shows every time I smile
I had a chipped tooth that I wanted fixed. My dentist told me a crown was my best option. Porcelain. The first one turned blue and did not fit my bite. Long story short I have had this crown replaced 4 times and it is still discolored and not the right shape. I have recently lost my job therefor have lost my dental coverage. Im scared if I go back to this dentist she will just mess it up again and I will have to go thru pain and suffering again. What can I do to fix this with no insurance?
Today I had my 2 anterior replaced with zirconia crowns. The rest with emax veneers. Now that its all cemented I saw that right front tooth is shorter than the left. I told my dentist that its not even. He said that he will do Invisalign treatment to make it even. I also think that the zirconia crowns looks so unnatural. Can I redo them without paying again since I am not satisfied with the outcome? Does Invisalign can change the uneven length crowns?
I had crown lengthening today to correct an uneven gum line. But immediately after surgery my gum line still looks VERY crooked - the low gum teeth are now very high compared to the ones I wanted to match them to. The doctor says the gum line will come down after swelling subsides. Is this likely? I feel very disappointed right now.
One tooth is smaller and has had crown lengthening and three gum contours on same tooth at different times. I'm not sure if periodontist was just cautious and took minimal amounts of gum off each time. The results were a bit better but the gum seems to come back after removed is there anything else you would suggest to make this tooth appear larger .. Thanks Gina
