Please see the below picture that shows my high left canine. What are the chances this can be fixed? Are braces the only solution? I prefer to avoid them. Even if the canine is high, that is not the thing that is bothering me, it is the gap that is circled that is bothering me, what could the fix be for that? Even if just that gap is removed and nothing else is changed, I will be ecstatic. Really appreciate your help, thank you! https://imgur.com/a/VQBCBvf
My upper canine tooth is broken but the root is still intact. The x-ray shows that the roots are healthy and strong. I have been given options between a post and core treatment and a dental implant. My question is - is it wise to save whatever is left of the teeth and go for post and core? In case I go for post and core will there be a possibility of its failure in future? If it fails what options will I be left with? Or is it better to directly go with an implant now? I am a 25years old female
I got dental crown for my 8 front teeth, but i was really unhappy with the teeth shape at all. It does not look nice and fit with my smiling. It looked like the 2 front teeth are short and stick out, also the canine look so big. I came back to my dentist and told him it did not look nice, I want to redo it and show him the picture for teeth that I like. He just said it is the same with the picture. And it is look good already. Now, I am unconfident to smile. What should I talk to my dentist
I had 4 crowns and 2 veneers put on my front top teeth . I'm not happy with the shape and angle of the front 2. I feel like proportions on all of them are off. One of the canine veneers looks round and the surface is as wide as the front teeth. I love my Dentist. I'm not happy with the end result. I've spent over 25000 on alignment , implants and now crowns. I want to be happy with the result. Am I being picky? Should I just leave it alone?
Asked for Emax or Zirconia veneers as a grinder; use a night guard. Dentist said was better candidate for 360 wrap veneers. Said only small amount of tooth would be removed. Temp canine fell of 3x; now permanent 3x as well. Office ordeirng third cement. Something is not right. So stressed out, not sleeping. Recemented tooth falls off when sleeping. Should this much tooth been removed? Please advise.
Hi, I have about a 2.0 to 3.0 upper midline deviation. I have just had my canines and central lateral incisors removed due to 20 year old root canals needing to be taken out. I plan to fix my gaps with crowns/bridge work. Hoping they can help straighten my smile enough to where its perfect or close enough :) Do you think it could be done?
I had a small chip right next to the very tip of my right canine tooth and had it smoothed out. This made the tooth extremely round whereas the left canine is very pointy and sharp. I went back and the dentist shaped it to be pointy. Now the canine I had work on is much shorter and I am having sensitivity. It has been 3 weeks. Could they put a small composite on my canine to help match the length a bit better? Sensitivity and mismatch in length is bothering me.
I had beautiful crowns I will post pic. I met with a new dentist to see if she could make canines a bit pointier and she said she would have to redo the whole case. She said my crowns were fake looking and she could make them beautiful. She was very convincing. I now have temporarily cemented grey, slanted from the midline and over contoured crowns. Can I ask for all of my money back? Or just pay her for the cost of what the lab charges per unit?
