I got my 2nd crown about 6 months ago. It would have been 2nd from the back on the top, but the back one was removed years ago, making it the back tooth. My first crown took months of adjusting before we got it right, so I was prepared for a struggle. I've had between 4 and 6 adjuments already including to the tooth it contacts on the bottom. I had a custom nightguard made, which helped a little. Nothing has fixed it. The tooth is always sensitive, but a nerve test didn't show anything wrong.
Hi, I just got a crown put on my implant. The implant was put in my mouth about six months ago and everything was fine. Issue is now that some of the teeth near by the crown are a sensitive to touch (pressure). I also got another tooth extracted the same day but it's farther away. Should I worry or is this just the teeth getting use to the new crown? It has only been 12 hours by the way, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't doing anything wrong. Thanks!
I got a crown on my bottom molar almost 6 months ago. Since it was placed the dentist I went to buffed my upper tooth to adjust the bite. The bottom Crown seems to feel flat with a few ridges compared to the rest of my molar. For example if I want to eat a pretzel I have to chew with the other side of my mouth because applying pressure to it starts to hurt the the bottom crowndo molar. Is this something that can be fixed? Also I did not need a root canal, that's why they just placed a crown.
6 months ago a private dentist replaced my two top front crowns, they were over 10 years old and had some metal showing near gum line. A few months later I initially felt and then noticed an uneven surface on both crowns, more on right. I have a small overbite, dark posts were fitted 30 years ago. I imagine the error occurred when they tried reducing the bulk without the dark posts showing through &nicked the surface. NHS dentist also noticed poor gum line, he though they were several years old
Six months ago I had 4 crowns and 4 veneers put on, since then I have had a burning tongue and roof of my mouth. My tongue is also swollen... I am so scared, it took me years to save the money for this and now i am in pain every day of my life... Benadryl helps. My dentist pretty much has said sorry about your luck! I am assuming i am allergic to the material of the crowns and veneers . Any help will be most appreciated!

My dentist decided to remove all and when they took the moldings came out one and smelled awful. Because this tooth She would't take the others .She want to see if that is causing the smell and taste, but i still have the same problem
