The bridge was placed next to my wisdom tooth. I believe it is a tight contact which is why I cannot floss between the bridge and wisdom tooth. I know its important to floss every tooth which is why I am worried. Should I just waterpik instead of getting it readjusted? There is no problem flossing under the bridge but the problem is I cannot get the thread to go inbetween the wisdom tooth and bridge. For example, if a crown is too close to your natural tooth, it is too tight to floss
There is a gap before my dental bridge and I cannot floss the tooth after the bridge (my natural tooth). It was cemented too close to my back tooth. Should I get this adjusted because I cannot floss my natural tooth (only under the bridge) and it has me worried. The dentist did notice but it was already cemented and could not yank it off. He said I might need it adjusted which takes time or get filling to create space. Any thoughts please, this is on my bottom molars
I'm a mess , I have a partial on the upper. the only teeth left 6-10 , and number 9 just broke. So getting a bridge using 8 &10. Number 8 will need a root canal before. I want to get rid of the partial, Can I use 6 as abutment , thinking of 4 tooth bridge as the best option , what do think ?
I got a dental bridge last year but I havent been able to get a retainer. Ive noticed some changes within my teeth. However, I am not sure if I have a deep bite or not - I cannot tell myself, but my face does look different (round and small). If I do have a deep bite, is there any way I can get orthopedic help, or any other help that isnt so costly?
!About a year ago, I have gotten two 3-tooth dental bridges. However, there has been a gap that has formed in between my two dental bridges. the front teeth area of the two bridges have a tugging-like feeling, occasionally throbbing, though no pain. A dentist said it was due to not having a permanent retainer behind them, which I was not told about right after I got the dental bridges. Im wondering if there is a way to move just the bridge part to fill the gap back + relieve the tugging feeling
This is the second time my bridge fell off. The first procedure happened 7 yrs ago. Last May it fell off. I kept my bridge and had my dentist place it back. Before that, I noticed that there is occasional bleeding in the area without pain. The first time it fell off, there was no bleeding but when I brush it, that is where the bleeding starts with no pain. When it was put back, I noticed that the cement in the bridge was not taken out. Instead, another cement/adhesive was placed in it.
I have an uneven jaw ridge after 2 molars extracted on same side. Jaw bone ridge is uneven and sharp. I do not want jaw recontouring so want to just replace the front molar to avoid the pain of the denture rubbing on the pointy sharp bone ridge where the back molar was. Can this be done effectively?
