Hi I am considering having CO2 Lazer under my eyelids because I am only 27 and have quite a few milia bumps fine lines and i've noticed recently more dry patches of skin almost like plaques of dryness. It's very concerning to me because this is my eye area. I tend to wash this area quite often well in the shower and when i wash my face and right after i see the dryness of the skin and the milia and lines i put a small amount of vaseline but it never goes away and lately ive noticed it looks wors
I got a fully ablative CO2 laser 7 months ago and have been struggling with a horrendous texture that appeared after and has seemingly worsened in the past 3 months. The skin is glossy/shiny. It has a rough texture with hypertrophic bumps everywhere. The skin doesnt look like skin. I can only go outside at night. Is it post-laser milia? Is it scarring? Is it recoverable from?
I have hyperpigmentation, very deep pores, a lot of acne and milia, facial hair that I never had and dark spots coming back (no, I haven't been in the sun)! I have a lot of scar tissue on my neck. I'm so disappointed and wish I'd never gotten it done. I look worse now then before the procedure. I hate to even look in the mirror!! It definitely wasn't worth the cost, pain and destroying my self esteem!! Is there anything I can do to fix the mess I'm left with?? I feel so ugly!!
In my consultation with one doctor it was recommended that I do the Madonna (CO2 Laser) procedure but I want to make sure I am getting the best treatment. It was suggested that I would need approximately 3 procedures to get optimal results with no guarantee of reoccurrence. I am 33 years old with freckles & fair skin.
In Oct. 2012 I had the above captioned full face laser. I am now fighting milia. As soon as I get rid of some, more pop up. What is an effective tx to eliminate this! It seems to be as bad as acne which I have never had.
