Full face fractional Co2 6 months ago. Healed until 2 weeks post. Added salicylic acid wash back in per approval along with doctors in-house skincare. Immediately developed dermatitis. Swelling, erythema, and irritation. Prednisone, doxy, Desonide no change. 6 months post my entire face is thick irritated orange peel texture where very smooth prior. Still swollen. Skin is now thick, shiny, and rubbery. Dr has discharged me. Is this permanent damage? Can anyone help? Can travel.

I have Post Inflammatory Erythema, like red/pinkish marks on my cheeks and temples. I fair skinned so it stands out and I also have some scarring around it as well. I asked my dermatologist which laser treatment would be best to help fade my red/pinkish marks much faster and he said a co2 laser would be best but I don't know if he meant about the scarring and its hard for me to even see the scarring because of the marks. Is that the right laser procedure or is it a different one for PIE marks
