I recently had ACDF surgery, which has given me a scar along my neck, 5 weeks ago. It went well and the scar is healing. Before having this surgery, I was planning on getting CO2 laser surgery on my face and neck for acne scars, slight wrinkles and general complexion issues that I'm unhappy with. But now I'm wondering if I need to postpone my plans until this scar has had some time to finish healing, maybe 6 months, or more. Please could someone share some advice. Thanks
had Co2 laser 6 weeks ago. still pretty pink but my biggest concern is the overal texture seems almost like an orange peel . the pores seem very large and the acne scarring is about the same but unfortunately now each mark is red so that it is even more noticeable. any suggestions as to good creams etc ? is this normal or I should be concerned ?
I had traditional ablative co2 laser done on my cheek for a scar a month and a half ago. Yesterday I was outside for a few hours while it was very cloudy with light rain, I had SPF 55 on my face to try and protect the treated area. I noticed this morning a part of the treated area is more red than before. I'm worried I caused damage to my skin even though I wore SPF and it was very cloudy and I couldn't see the sun through the clouds. Please give me advice on what I should do, I'm so worried.
I had DOT laser done to treat a scaring from cyst acne that was cut and extracted 8 months ago. The doctor PRP to try fix the depressed dent mid March. I had more scaring from the PRP procedure and stitches to close cut. Now they did a DOT CO2 laser 6 weeks ago. I am seeing the square patch after CO2 Laser Treatment. Doctor suggested VBeam laser but I am scared to do any type of laser on my skin. I am Asian brown skin and scar very easily. Now using hydroquinone 4% bleach cream twice daily .
