Due to the poor condition of my gums, I thought my only option was dentues, so I went to one of those 'cheap' dentures places about a year ago - and I hate the dentures! I can't wear them for more than an hour without them hurting and staying in place. I went back several times to this place to tell them how badly they hurt and I couldn't eat or speak. They basically treated me like I was NUTS! Basically my question is, can I go to implants and what kind of dentist should I seek?
I have 3 missing teeth in the front of my mouth with one that desperately needs to be removed. Does having major dental insurance generally reduce the cost of the procedure? I have 8 remaining teeth on top and 10 on the bottom. Seriously considering getting the full set done
I got the all in one day clear choice dental implant bridge thing only in the top of my mouth. I got this December 2nd 2016. I'm absolutely going insane on only soft foods and it's been nearly 2 months. How much longer do I need to do this before it's actually safe to chew. I don't mean a steak or something I mean like a fast food burger. I'm going nuts with this awful diet.
Ibut having been through the consult process, for 3 implants w bone graft, a 4 tooth bridge and 1 crown, it was going to cost me $30,000. I have no insurance. Who can afford that? It is one year salary for most people.(after tax) Should I consult more and see if I can find a better deal somewhere? Why can't anyone invent less costly ways to do this. I have a temporary plastic bridge right now and it looks and function fine to me!
