Answer: Necessary Advice Hello; apparently, both in the lower abdomen, still in an horizontal plan and both in the upper abdomen, in the vertical plan; you have an excess skin and with a vertical incision; that is, by the Fleur de lis; Tummy Tuck treatment needs to be added. If you do not want this, the only possible implementation is; Renuvion J Plasma technique; might be a try. These problems cannot be solved with Emsculpt or any other devices.

Answer: Tummy tuck thigh lift mastopexy arm lift buttock augmentation buttock lift bodylift expert brachioplasty mastopexy LBL FDL Hello, Thank you for reaching out with your concerns about residual skin laxity following a lower body lift, particularly in the abdominal area. It's not uncommon for patients to have varying degrees of skin laxity after such procedures, and it sounds like you're looking for an effective solution to address this issue. Based on your description and the photos you provided, you're observing excess skin that wasn't completely addressed by the initial horizontal incision technique used in your lower body lift. This can indeed happen, as every individual's body responds differently to these procedures. Given your situation, a revision surgery focusing on a vertical resection might be more beneficial. This would involve an incision running vertically from your belly button to the pubic area and possibly upward towards the sternum. This approach allows for the removal of skin in a different plane – side to side – which can be more effective for certain patients, especially those with excess skin remaining after a horizontal resection. This type of procedure is sometimes referred to as a vertical tummy tuck or a fleur-de-lis (FDL) abdominoplasty. In your case, the horizontal component of the FDL might not be necessary if the primary concern is excess skin in the vertical dimension. I recommend discussing this option with a board-certified plastic surgeon who has extensive experience in body contouring and revision surgeries. They can assess your specific needs, examine the areas of concern, and recommend a tailored approach to achieve the best possible results. Regarding non-surgical options like EMSCULPT or AirSculpt, these techniques primarily target fat reduction and muscle toning and are less effective for significant skin removal. In cases of substantial excess skin, surgical intervention is usually the most effective approach. I hope this response provides insight into potential next steps for addressing the excess skin following your lower body lift. Please consult with a qualified plastic surgeon to explore the best solution for your unique situation. Wishing you the best as you seek the right treatment. Sincerely, Dr. Katzen
