White Bumps (Follicular Macular Atrophy) on Shoulders/back, How To Treat?

I went through a bout of cystic acne on my back/shoulders years ago, now it is gone.. But I am now left with small white bumps (called perifollicular elastolysis, or Follicular Macular Atrophy) that started a while after the cystic acne went away. I was just wondering if there are any methods of treating these white bumps. (Would Dermabrasion work? Or would it just make it worse? Possibly laser resurfacing or Chemical peel?). Or would the white spots just be best left alone? Help is appreciated.

Treatment of PFE or one type of acne scarring

It is not possible to treat the back with traditional laser resurfacing. There are not enough adnexal structures to heal. The same goes for a chemical peel deep enough to treat your scars. The only procedure I would consider is a fractional laser procedure. Best to you.
