Implants 5 years old Noticed in last year that when sunbathing they become very hot / painful and today after coming back from pool I noticed this red mark Should I be concerned
Answer: Breast augmentation The heat may be causing a reaction in your skin. If this comes and goes it may just be heat related. I would check with your surgeon. If the red spots do not go away then it may mean an infection and I would see your surgeon as soon as possible.

Answer: Breast Implants Dear Maryvicmary,Hello and thank you for your excellent question. Based on your photos, I agree with a number of comments on this thread. Given that you are five years out, this is unlikely to be implant related. However, if it does not resolve, seek medical attention with either your primary care physician, or a plastic surgeon. It is best to answer your question during a face-to-face evaluation, when you can discuss your goals and expectations for the procedure, and you can have a physical examination to evaluate for that procedure. I recommend that you find a board-certified, or board-eligible plastic surgeon with whom you are comfortable. Be sure to have all of your questions answered during a face-to-face meeting with your surgeon, and review before and after pictures of similar patients whom have had this procedure. If you have any questions, call our office for assistance. Good luck!
