                   I think your result can be significantly improved with the right surgeon, irrespective of the manner of liposuction utilized.  Find a plastic surgeon with ELITE credentials who performs hundreds of liposuction procedures each year.  Then look at the plastic surgeon's website before and after photo galleries to get a sense of who can deliver the results.  Kenneth Hughes, MD Los Angeles, CA

Sometimes these types of irregularities can be improved with revision liposuction, using small suction cannulas. It appears that you could also benefit from suctioning of the waist and hip on each side as well. There is also a possibility that a small amount of fat transferred to the depressions may help as well. In addition, there are some non-surgical treatments for body contouring and this may be of help for some of the localized fat excess.  Best of Luck  Dr Harrell

It is not unusual that young patients, but especially males have unevenness and recurrence with liposuction.  Unfortunately, liposuction and lipo sculpture is about how long the surgeon takes in removing the fat.  The less time that is taken, the less fat.  Vaser, Laser SmartLipo, BodyJet, etc. don't speed up the processes.  The more fat that is taken, the less chance that the fat that remains will continue to grow and the result go away in a few years.

I have used all of the lipo technologies and today I rely most on micro lipo where fat is removed from small cannulas from multiple directions and up to 90% of the fat.  When this is done, it can give the most even results and the biggest and most permanent changes. 

Vaser is very helpful in re-do lipo cases and can assist in breaking up the very fibrous areas.  We and also fat graft the low areas and suction the bulging areas.  I have patented a cannula that is used with the Power X Lipo system that has a spatula tip that wihen rotated breaks up the fat and fibrous tissue better that any other modalities I use.  That being said, the re-do surgeries take more time and are very demanding. Also, when we can go all the way around the abdominal torso and remove up to 90% of the fat, we can get some tremendous skin tightening of up to 25%, that we cannot get with any other modality.  I have found this also very useful in redo procedures. 

When you call shop around to try to find the right doctor, try to find one with the most experience, who does primairly lipos at least every week, and who will spend the most time doing the actual procedure.
