My vision at computer screen distance is very unclear (blurry and double vision) 18 days after my PRK surgery. Started about 8-9 days after the surgery and has been unchanged since then. My distance vision is seems to be ok. I work at a computer all day and have not been able to return to work because of this. Called my doctors office but they told me to wait it out until my next follow up appointment. My prescription before PRK was -3.00 in both eyes and I am 27 years old. Is this normal?

It can take up to 6 months for the eyes to fully heal from PRK and not everyone heals at the same rate. Please see your surgeon for regular follow up to ensure that you are not developing any scarring, or haze. Continue wearing sunglasses, taking VitaC, and using lubricating eye drops.
Thank you for sharing your case with the Realself community. Your vision will continue to improve over the next few days. Make sure that your surgeon is aware of your condition. Good luck!
I had my own LASIK 20 years ago, when you and i did it WaveFront hadn't come out yet, so i also have ghosting at night, i am going to get a HD LASEK to fix it
so you 1st need a PreVue lens so you can see how you would see afterwards, then do a HD WaveFront LASEK on the prior...
