I had areola mastopexy with breast implant two years ago and my areola ended up stretching and we’re in two different places on my breasts and my two breasts were different sizes so I went back for an areola and scar reduction 3 weeks ago with the same doctor and I’m noticing my results are bad. Although the nipple are smaller I feel they already started to restretch. I also think my right nipple is very close to my armpit and both breasts are two different shape. What can I do to fix this prob?
Answer: Breast asymmetry Hi! It’s a bit challenging to see on the photos that you uploaded but it does look like you potentially have a symmetric breast shape and also that the position of your nipple Ariola complexes are different. It’s important to know that the breasts are not twins, but sisters, and consequently they can never be identical, but if you are Dissatisfied with the shape then I would first inform us go back to your surgeon and explain this and see if he can do a revision and if not get a second opinion from a plastic surgeon. There are revision surgeries that you could do to adjust the shape and positioning of your breast and nipple are complexes

Answer: Asymmetrical breasts Dear Eclectic67384, based on your photos, it looks like your breasts are asymmetrical. In order to make them more symmetrical you will need to get revision surgery. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Areolar Reduction and Breast asymmetry..... Sorry to hear about these issues. Unfortunately, most women's breasts are not exactly alike. Fortunately, many asymmetry issues can be made better. The breast with your areola closer to your armpit (I think one of your pics is a selfie and the other not, so, I'm not sure which is left or right) can be moved closer to the midline. This would however require at least an additional vertical scar from your areola to your crease. And, just so you know, areolar reductions with only a scar around the areola almost never work. They almost always stretch out again. The way to reduce your areola without them stretching again is to add the vertical scar

Answer: Wrong surgery twice A circumareolar mastopexy, or if you prefer an areolar reduction, was the wrong surgery for you. You needed a true mastopexy. Why you didn't get one may be on you (fear of scars), or your surgeon (incompetent). Regardless, you shouldn't use that surgeon anymore; he's/she's proven himself/herself to not do the right thing twice. Not only will the areola re-expand, but you can see the breast shape is flattened and asymmetrical. Go to a good surgeon and fix it.

Answer: Asymmetry To improve symmetry you will need to consider a revision. However it is best for you to wait until you are healed from your most recent procedure. Some options to discuss with the revision would include using differently sized implants or reducing the larger breast. Nipple size can also be discussed. See a board certified plastic surgeon near you to learn more.
