Longevity of TCA Results?

I'm considering TCA peels but first I'd like to know how permanent the results will be, and how often I'd have to do maintenance? I have very, very pale skin, and I'm looking to fade some hyperpigmented scars from acne. They are flat and smooth, just dark, purplish marks.
