Botox - lower lip crooked. Is it possible that the injector hit a nerve?

I got botox in my chin about 5 months ago and it impacted my bottom lip. The right side of my lip appears to poke out when I talk or smile. When I smile the right side is positioned further downwards than the left. It’s not straight. Kind of looks like the right side is being pulled by an invisible thread. If botox was causing the issue, the effects should’ve dissolved by now. Is it possible the injector hit a nerve or something and permanently damaged my lip?
