Tip Plasty is used for aesthetic corrections, however, can the procedure also help correct functional breathing problems? My deviated septum was straightened and turbinates were reduced in a past procedure, but breathing problems have continued. One nostril size is significantly unsymmetrical (smaller) than the other one.

It does appear that some bone or calcified scar tissue is causing the bump on the radix. This could be corrected during a revision surgery. I don't think it would make your nose appear shorter as your nasal starting point would remain in a similar position.

How long has it been since surgery. Place a before and after picture to compare. Without this basic information any suggestions you might receive may not be helpful!
