Can getting a tummy tuck after a breast augmentation affect the location of the implant?

The bottom of the breast inserts on the chest wall and will not be disrupted by a properly executed abdominoplasty. The operation was no effect on the position of the breast implants.

A tummy tuck performed after a previous breast augmentation should not affect the position of the breast in a normal healthy patient. There may be an exception to this however in the patient who has lost a great deal of weight. Sometimes this skin is very loose and a later abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) may change the position of the lower fold of the breast slightly.

Tummy tuck following a breast augmentation should not affect the results of your breast augmentation.  Many women have breast augmentation then return for tummy tuck at a later date.Best of luck,
