I am on tray 14 and have never experienced this before. There is irritation in the space between 2 teeth and when I remove the tray, it bleeds slightly. I am not sure if this tray is defective or if this is normal. I can not get in touch with my orthodontist until after the holidays and I don't want to continue to wear it if it is causing damage.

I try to widen arches and not extract any teeth if it is possible. Ask your dentist to explain why you need to remove teeth before you have them extracted. There may be a great reason but only a small percentage of cases require extractions.
