Septoplasty after right punch to my nose

After an injury, the best time is within about seven days to correct the crookedness. After that, probably anytime after one month when a lot of the swelling would have gone down. Trauma to the nose is a common reason for a deviated septum which can cause nasal airway obstruction.  Correcting this with septoplasty or nasal valve repair should be covered by insurance.  However, taking down a hump, refining the nasal tip, or other cosmetic changes to the nose may not be covered.  Seek an experienced nasal surgeon for a full evaluation.
