The last couple of days the skin on my abdomen feels like it is on fire. There is no rash and doesn’t itch, just burns and hurts when I walk. I don’t know if this is normal or what I can do to relieve the pain.
Answer: Mommy Makeover Recovery It sounds like you’re having some sort of allergic reaction to the elastic garment and you should be evaluated by your plastic surgeon. In the meantime you may try using moisturizer on the area. Best of luck.

Answer: 15 days postop TT and BA. My abdominal skin feels like it’s on fire. Thank you for sharing your question. Most likely the garment rubbing against your skin has caused some irritation and I would contact your surgeon to evaluate your healing progress. Hope this helps.

Answer: I am 15 days post op TT and breast augmentation. I have worn my compression garment day and night except for showering. Hello dear!! Thanks for the question and provided information as well. You are still very early on the healing process, it can take up to 6 months to fully recover. At the stage you are in, the feeling you are describing is normal, since the nerves are healing, so i recommend to be patient. If you have any concerns, i suggest you to follow up close with your plastic surgeon. Good luck :)

Answer: Mommy makeover It is very common to have your symptoms following this surgery. The nerves are disrupted with this surgery and a burning sensation can occur. Tightening of the abdominal wall will also cause tightness and pain with walking.I would try taking the garment off for an hour or try a different garment to see if this makes a difference. You are still very early in the healing process and it will take months for the healing to occur. I would followup with your doctor to make sure nothing else is going on.

Answer: I am 15 days post op TT and breast augmentation. If something new has occurred in the past two days, it’s impossible to diagnose without an in-person examination. We recommend consulting with your surgeon to further discuss your concerns.
