I had a midfacelift and facelift 4-15 to try to fix saggy skin after a vline surgery. Sine this, ive been left with a very long face a pointy chin which look unnatural. Would fillers help or do I need additional surgery to fix it? If so, when would you recommend this be redone? I'd like to get nearer to what I looked like before I did all the surgery.
Answer: Unhappy with facelift A facelift revision is not out of the question but it is difficult to tell from the photos you provided. You should first try speaking to your surgeon about his or her revision policy.

Answer: Help for pointy chin and elongated face Thank you for your photos, they are helpful in describing what you do not like about your face. Often times these days, fat grafting is included with a facelift. The reason for it is exactly what you show in your photos. As we age, not only does skin stretch and sag, but we lose volume, which gives a youthful appearance. While fillers could help, they are temporary and the amount that you would need to get you closer to what you looked like before, would not be cost effective. My advice would be autologous fat grafting to naturally fill volume back into your face for permanent results. May grafting can be done with local anesthesia and sedation, if you do not want any more general anesthesia. Best to see a board certified plastic surgeon for an in person consult. Good luck!

Answer: Pointy chin after a face lift Hello Chi.Girl,Based on the two photos your chin does appear to be more distinct in your post operative photos. At 4 months out a lot of your swelling should have subsided and what you are seeing will be close to your final result. If you are concerned about this you do have several options. There are chin implants designed to augment these areas but this does require another surgery. You may also consider fillers or volume augmentation with fat but these are not as predictable as far as the long term results go when compared to an implant. I would certainly discuss your concerns with your surgeon to determine what options are available.I hope this helps and good luck.
