I'm 54 years old. I had jowl surgery 4 1/2 weeks ago. Before my surgery, I always heard that if one sleeps on their side at night, jowls can develop. So, I've always slept on my back. Two years ago, I decided to sleep on my side, as it was more comfortable. After that, I noticed the jowls appearing. I know I'm in my mid fifties and maybe should have some jowls, but is what I read, true?
