i'm about to get laser tattoo removal. i was reading about keloids and i don't know if i am prone to having them they said they can form anywhere especially with piercings. i have gauges, lip, monroe and belly button pierced with no sighs of getting "keloids" does that make me okay to get tattoo laser removal?

Most patients who think they have keloids , just have thickened scars (hypertrophic scars that improve with time)
true keloids grow beyond the initial injury (even ear piercings).
if you have had keloids, or have a family history you may be at higher risk. there is no known study to test for this
