I’m 19 and I’m very petite skinny girl with very huge breast since I was 13 I stopped running track when I was in the 10th grade due to breathing problem with my breast , I constantly have back/neck pains , and can’t stand long period of time without my back hurting , my rib cages hurt , my chest feels tight like my breast are heavier then me it causes me to have a hunch when sitting down you can see my veins on my shoulders and my chest are red due to streching what should I do
Answer: Br I appreciate your question. I can see why you are considering beast reduction. I perform a liposuction breast lift/reduction known as Breast LipoLift®. This specialized technique spares more nerves and blood supply as well as removes tissue from the areas you don't want such as near the armpit and the lower portion hanging near your stomach. Once I use this to shape the breast, I then remove the excess skin to tighten the breast and create a more proportional silhouette with better cleavage. This procedure is also more accurate than traditional breast lifts or reductions since I use 3D measurements to uncover size asymmetries. During the procedure I remove exactly what more from the larger side to get as close to symmetry as possible. Since I perform this less invasively the recovery time is faster and drains are not necessary. Over 90% of my patients are out to dinner the next evening taking only Advil and Tylenol if even needed. The size would depend on the proportion with your body versus going for a cup size. It has been proven to have less complications than traditional breast reduction (please see my Breast LipoLift® page web page) and should not affect nipple sensation, mammograms, cancer risk or breast-feeding. The best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam. Please see a board-certified plastic surgeon that specializes in breast plastic surgery. Best of luck! Answer: Breast reduction candidate You may be a very good candidate for breast reduction, but it is best to discuss this in person. Breast reduction can reduce the size of your breasts and lift them up as well. Since you are having symptoms of pain then reducing the weight of your breasts can often help with this. Getting insurance to cover it is a slightly different question. You should see your primary care doctor to help you get your problems documented as this will improve your chances at getting insurance coverage. Also document what you do for your pain, such as taking medicine (especially ibuprofen, Advil/Motrin, or Aleve), or physical therapy, chiropractor, massage, hot or cold compresses, etc. All of these issues can affect your ability to get insurance to cover this procedure.Insurance usually has a minimum amount of tissue to be removed from each side (based on weight). this amount is calculated using your height and weight and can vary from one insurance to another. No guarantees can be made as to what size breasts you will have after meeting that criteria as it depends on how much your breast tissue that is removed weighs (not everybody is the same).Seek a plastic surgeon certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery for your options and evaluation.

Answer: The Bellesoma Method for breast reduction You are an excellent candidate for The Bellesoma Method. This technique will reduce and reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. The weight of the breast is transferred to the underlying pectoralis major muscle resulting in pain relief without excessive reduction. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation and the ability to breast feed are maintained. I do not believe you are large enough for insurance coverage. Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.
