I used to have slightly large stretched earlobes (around 38mm) until I went to a surgeon to get them surgically closed. Six months after the surgery, they appear to be fully healed, but resulted in scar tissue. I plan to to pierce my earlobes again and stretch them but, I am totally not sure if that would be a good idea.
