5 months after neck and facelift, I am still completely numb, with tightness, hardness, and dry skin. I understand nerves take time to regenerate and that scar tissue had been laid down beneath the undermined skin---that the type of collagen initially deposited is type III which is stiff and knotted but gets converted to smoother, more flexible collagen type I over time. I've read that taking collagen type I with HA and vit C promotes healthy skin. Might it help with the hardness and tightness?

The term "reverse" facelift is not commonly used and definitely should be avoided. If used to advertise a certain procedure, education is most beneficial when well-established names are used including Midface-Lift (or cheek lift), SMAS Facelift, Deep-Plane Facelft etc.
