Im very familiar with this technology. not sure who your doctor is but Im sure they are very well trained in the use of Fractional lasers. my advise to you is to please contact them and see if you need to be further evaluated. I have 4 different kinds of CO2 lasers in my office that i use on my patients. but I have not seen anyone develop a grid pattern (at least not yet) but Im aware of this type of an affect. 

3 weeks is still a very, very early timeframe. 1. Photograph the grids and problem, 2. Re take photos every month. You should notice improvement.
