Naturally Growing Eyelashes w/ Coconut Oil or Castor Oil?

Can Coconut Oil or Castor Oil be used or applied on eyelashes to grow them longer? Or is that only a myth?

Conditioning your eyelashes will make them appear full and accept mascara better but will not physically make them longer.Younique Moonstruck 3D fiber lashes is a two step mascara that also gives the illusion of longer, fuller lashes. but doesn't make them grow longer.Latisse has been proven to actually make lashes grow longer.

Have you considered Latisse?  Latisse is a medication used to lengthen, darken, and thicken your natural lashes.  It is a liquid applied with a tiny brush at night to the lash line.  It is very easy to use.  Optimal results are achieved at 16 weeks, but you might see changes as early as 30-45 days.   Give it a try!

It certainly would not hurt to use coconut oil or castor oil to help condition your lashes.  Daily stimulation may increase circulation and improve the appearance.  For more dramatic lashes, consider lash conditioners.

Conditioning your lashes can make them appear more full and keep them healthy. It will not stimulate them to grow longer. Only a medication such as Latisse can actually stimulate lash growth.

All coconut oil and castor oil will do is help moisturize your lashes and keep them from being dry and brittle. Unfortunately, these can also coat your lashes and make them feel sticky because it doesn't dry. "This answer has been solicited without seeing this patient and cannot

You can achieve a little longer eyelash with these oils as they will act as a hair conditioner and keep your lashes from falling out earlier than they do now.  If you want thicker, darker and longer lashes (longer than they would normally grow even with a lash conditioner) then you would need to use Latisse.Best regards,
