Hello, I just recently went through my 11th session for laser hair removal 2 days ago. This time, we decided to go 2 J higher than usual, and she decided to pass over the area two times. My upper lip was red and stiff for about 4 hours after the treatment. However since then, it feels dry and there are patches of rough skin when I run my finger over the area. This has never happened before. Did she burn my upper lip?

It is important to be clean shaven when you come in for your laser hair removal treatments. Other than that you can shave as seldom or often as you like. It has no effect at all on your outcome. Thank you.
