I have a scarred mentalis muscle that wrinkles upon contracture. Ultrasound therapy was indicated to me to help break down the scar tissue and improve the appearance, but I also see things about ultrasound treatments INCREASING collagen. I'm so confused about this treatment and its effectiveness. Please advise.
