Does massage with applying pressure harm tissues or help resolving internal scar tissue 6months after chin implant removal?

I got my small size extended an. silicone chin implant removed, 6months ago via submental incision. Implant stayed in only 2days removed due to not liking at all, so there was no“capsule” formed. My chin is still wider and bigger than before which i think because of internal scar tissue. Chin feels squashy, looks puffy.I started massage gently since second of removal. I read that deep tissue massage need more pressure to be sucessfull is that true? Or does it stop tissues from sticking to bone?
