I am 3.5 weeks post op, I have felt a stretching sensation underneath my left breast incision. I at first thought my incision was stretching and I need to be more careful but upon closer inspection it looks more like tightened muscle fibers. They are vertically over my ribs under my incision. I had dual plane placement. IMF incision. Could this be my pectoral muscle? I'm so confused! It sometimes hurts when I am in different positions. They can be seen when I stretch and take a deep breath.

Any surgeon can squeeze an unnaturally oversized implant into someone, but most of us are interested in the artistry of our results and will counsel patients not to do something that will cause them significant problems a few years later. 500cc on someone your size is pushing the limits.
The higher the discrepancy between base diameter and implant diameter and the larger the implant, the higher the risk of wrinkling and palp ability.
