I had a 360 total body lift. I went to the surgeon to see if I was a candidate since I weighed 163 lbs and had never lost a drastic amount of weight to have any extra skin. I mainly wanted the "stubborn belly fat" removed. I have tried every diet and exercise with no results so surgery was a last resort. I am 2 months post OP and I literally look exactly the same. Will I see results soon? How long until I could see maximum results? I'm super frustrated.
Answer: Results of a Circumferemtial Tummy Tuck ( Around the World TT) - when do they show? When you see the results of a procedure depends on the preoperative deformity and what exactly the procedures are that were performed. As an example - Liposuction creates swelling that takes months to resolve. Excision of skin and muscle tightening results are generally much quicker changes. Your preoperative photos demonstrate that you did not have layers of extra skin - more of a finesse operation.Continue to be patient and follow your surgeon's advice - and ask him/her for thoughts.

CONTACT NOW Answer: How long to see results after a 360 total lower body lift post-op healing after lower body lift lower body lift result swelling Hi SD1984 in Lubbock, Thank you for your question regarding when you can expect to see results from a 360-degree body lift. Every patient is different, and everyone heals at a different rate after any surgery. "Larger" lower body results are immediate and evident on the operating room table. Sometimes the "smaller" lower body lifts take longer to show results. (You would be classified as a "smaller" lower body lift.) In general, most of the lower body swelling is gone after about six to eight weeks. Some patients take longer. Some patients may take up to two years for the swelling to settle. I would suggest you follow up with your plastic surgeon, continue your medical-grade compression garment, and have lymphatic massage twice a week until all your swelling is gone. Good luck. I hope that I have answered your questions regarding when you can expect to see results from a 360-degree body lift. Sincerely, J. Timothy Katzen, MD Plastic Surgeon

Answer: Results of surgery Dear SD1984,I understand your concern and it is quite normal to be concerned about the outcome following a tummy tuck surgery. However, you are still in the very early stages of the healing process.Your will need to be patient at this moment and follow what your surgeon has instructed you to do post operatively. At the early stage of the healing process, the tissues are still swollen. Once the swelling subsides you will be able to see the final result of your surgery.Daniel Barrett, MD Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery

Answer: Body lift results Congratulations on your body lift, SD1984! It’s still too early to see your final results since you’re only two months post op and at the early stage of your healing. There’s still a lot of swelling present, which is probably why you feel that there hasn’t been a lot of change in your body. Wait for at least six months to see your final results. For any other concerns, don’t hesitate to follow-up with your reputable and board-certified plastic surgeon. Best of luck!
