I had neck liposuction and a chin implant 5 weeks ago. My neck seems to be healing well, except there is swelling along my anterior neck vein that does not seem to be improving. When I tilt my head backwards I can feel a tight pulling sensation run down from my chin area through my neck along this specific vein. Could my chin implant be pushing down on my vein causing this ? Is there anything that can be done to bring down the swelling ? I appreciate any feedback.

When evaluating area if one pages the skin and the distance between the two fingers is an inch or more liposuction may be of benefit. There are other areas where a smaller fold might still yield good results. The pubic area is one such.
Your insight is good in that you recognize you have an eating disorder. The key word you used is "need" and that is something you should discuss with your primary care physician. Unless the fat is localized as others have mentioned there are healthier ways than surgery to help you
Burn marks at the incision can come about from too much friction and insufficient lubrication of the cannula. Although ultrasonic liposuction is an excellent technique if the cannula is not sufficiently cooled, burns can occur at the skin.Good luck
